DESCRIPTION:Chorlton Wombles can’t stand the litter that they find in places like the Chorlton Ees\, Chorlton Park\, the meadows\, etc. They aim to hold one litter pick per month. Litter pickers and hoops are provided\, just bring gloves and dress for the weather. There’ll be a free drink at the Bowling Green when the wombling’s done. \nPicks are usually the second Sunday of the month\, but do check the Facebook group  before leaving home\, as wombling can be affected by bad weather. \nMeet at 11am\, Chorlton Ees Car Park.

SUMMARY:Chorlton Wombles Litter Pick
DESCRIPTION:Chorlton Wombles can’t stand the litter that they find in places like the Chorlton Ees\, Chorlton Park\, the meadows\, etc. They aim to hold one litter pick per month. Litter pickers and hoops are provided\, just bring gloves and dress for the weather. There’ll be a free drink at the Bowling Green when the wombling’s done. \nPicks are usually the second Sunday of the month\, but do check the Facebook group  before leaving home\, as wombling can be affected by bad weather. \nMeet at 11am\, Chorlton Ees Car Park.

DESCRIPTION:Established in 1989\, the  Chorlton Civic Society is an independent\, constituted community association\, concerned with the quality of the area and its surroundings. We are members of the NW Association of Civic Societies. We meet the second Monday of every other month (January\, March\, May\, July\, September\, November)\,  7.30pm. All are welcome – there are no membership fees and we run entirely on donations. To make a donation or take out a standing order in support of the Civic Society\, click here .
