DESCRIPTION:Chorlton Wombles can’t stand the litter that they find in places like the Chorlton Ees\, Chorlton Park\, the meadows\, etc. They aim to hold one litter pick per month. Litter pickers and hoops are provided\, just bring gloves and dress for the weather. There’ll be a free drink at the Bowling Green when the wombling’s done. \nPicks are usually the second Sunday of the month\, but do check the Facebook group  before leaving home\, as wombling can be affected by bad weather. \nMeet at 11am\, Chorlton Ees Car Park.

Please wear suitable footwear (boots or stout shoes) and dress for the weather. A pair of gardening gloves would be useful. DESCRIPTION:Help refugees and Asylum seekers\, by dropping off donations – 10am-12noon and 6pm-8pm. \nRefugee Aid Chorlton is a volunteer-run charity that began when neighbours were moved by the plight of refugees and asylum seekers\, especially those in refugee camps. Several years – and many\, many\, many shipping containers of aid – later\, they’re still going strong. \nCan you help? They need \n\nClothes and shoes\nToys and games\, books and stationery\nToiletries and underwear (new only)\nBikes\, scooters\, locks and helmets\nequipment for babies\n\nAll should be good quality items\, for any age/gender/size.  And no furniture\, please.
