DESCRIPTION:Chorlton Wombles can’t stand the litter that they find in places like the Chorlton Ees\, Chorlton Park\, the meadows\, etc. They aim to hold one litter pick per month. Litter pickers and hoops are provided\, just bring gloves and dress for the weather. There’ll be a free drink at the Bowling Green when the wombling’s done. \nPicks are usually the second Sunday of the month\, but do check the Facebook group  before leaving home\, as wombling can be affected by bad weather. \nMeet at 11am\, Chorlton Ees Car Park.

The group has already made seven beautiful blankets  which have been donated to the Boaz Trust\, as well as items of knitwear for babies. \nYou don’t have to stay for the whole session\, drop in as you please.
