SUMMARY:Christmas Lantern Parade and Light Switch-on
DESCRIPTION:Bring your lanterns and your fairy lights and join in the annual Beech Road\, Chorlton Christmas Lantern Parade and Lights Switch On.\nKey timings:\n5.30pm Meet at Beech Road park with your lantern\n5.45pm Parade leaves the park and walks along Beech Road towards the Green\, led by Santa!\n6pm Count down and light switch on. Performances from Little Belters\, Loreto Choir and Glor!\n7pm Join the traders of Beech Rd for a glass of mulled wine or something to eat\nOnce again\, Santa and a four piece brass band will be leading the parade.  Santa will also be collecting letters from children after the light switch on.\nThis event is organised by Beech Road Traders and We Are Adventures to say thank you for supporting them over the past 12 months.

DESCRIPTION:….. down Beech Road in 1845 \nCome and join Andrew Simpson walk down Beech Road as it would have been in 1845. Meet the people\, explore the houses and discover a mix of sad\, gruesome and a few happy stories about this part of Chorlton. \nMeet at the bus station on the corner of Beech Road and Barlow Moor Road\, Sunday September 17th at 2pm. \nTickets are £8.50 and include tea and cakes at the Edge Theatre cafe afterwards.
