Meet Fungall!

The Co-op is holding a press event with FungAll CIC — a brilliant local mushroom-growing social enterprise, supported by the Co-op Foundation’s Young Game Changers fund.
This is a chance to:
- Explore FungAll’s innovative farm — housed entirely in converted shipping containers.
- Meet the young people running it and learn how the mushrooms are grown.
- Hear about how this tiny operation is creating real social and ecological impact.
- Taste some of their delicious produce.
A film crew and local press will be attending, and community group members are especially welcome. There’s no expectation to be interviewed, but you might appear on film — perhaps even on BBC North West Tonight.
FungAll are keen to connect with other local groups and co-operators. If you’re interested in how food, youth empowerment, sustainability and social enterprise intersect — or if you’re just curious — this is a great chance to say hello and see what they’re building.
