Andrew Simpson, Chorlton’s favourite historian will again lead one of his popular guided history walks. By popular demand this year’s walk will be in the former parish church yard by Chorlton Green. The first place of worship was built here in the early 16th century and continued to serve the needs of its parishioners till 1940 while the last burial took place in 1900.
