Chorlton Good Neighbours is looking to recruit an Administration and Activities Support Worker to help run their busy, friendly office and activities.
Chorlton Good Neighbours is a charity based in Chorlton, South Manchester. Funded by Manchester City Council, they’ve been running since 1967, working to reduce social isolation amongst older people living in the Chorlton and Whalley Range areas, and providing volunteering opportunities for the local community.
Led by an experienced Coordinator, the group employs two visiting support workers as well as working with 90 volunteers.
This new role will support the current staff and volunteers to run some of the onsite activities, particularly the monthly Sunday teas and regular day trips, as well as support our volunteers who are involved with befriending, driving and various other volunteer-led services.
15 hours per week. £10,530 per annum.
