Chorlton Bookshop has a new signing!  City legend Alex Williams comes to Chorlton to talk about this new book.

After his goalkeeping career was cut cruelly short by injury in 1987, Alex went on to become Community Ambassador for the club, helping thousands of young people find their feet and their voices through the City in the Community charity.

Now retired after 33 years of service, he’s published his much-anticipated autobiography – You Saw Me Standing Alone.  Alex will talk about the book, his career and the power of football as a transformative force for good.

Tickets are £5, but if you buy Alex’s book, they’ll knock the fiver off the price.
