Sauvages – free film screening
Manchester Friends of the Earth present a special screening of ‘Sauvages’ – an animated film about a family fleeing conflict in Borneo’s rainforest.
As part of their Planet Over Profit campaign you’re invited to a screening of Savages, a PG-rated film about a young girls quest to rescue a baby orangutan from loggers in the Bornean jungle. The film explores themes of deforestation, corporate land grabs, palm oil production and Indigenous land rights.
Timings are as follows:
