Reach Out to the Community is all about helping local people with the most basic of needs – food and shelter. 

As well as running a charity shop and community hub in central Chorlton,  the team does outreach work to help rough sleepers and helps with the necessities that many of us take for granted – accessing food, healthcare, benefits and a place to live. 

The team also runs a food bank to help local people who find themselves in food poverty. Can you help?

Please consider donating:

• Your time as a valued volunteer (Reach Out won the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service)
• Clothes, books, DVDs, household and other saleable items for the shop
• Non-perishable food items for the food bank.  Take our shopping list with you next time you shop. 
• Money, which will help the team to help local families and homeless people.
