Working Together for Chorlton

You can make a real difference in your community by volunteering with Citizens Advice.

Jackie Kay at Chorlton Library

The teams of volunteers across England and Wales are vital to the work that Citizens Advice does.. They help people access the information and advice they need to move forward with their lives.

Citizens Advice believes everyone deserves access to independent, free advice to help them deal with life’s problems and challenges – you can help them do that.

Volunteers are at the heart of how the Citizens Advice service is delivered, whether it’s:

  • helping people online, over the phone, or in person

  • raising funds

  • researching and campaigning for policy change

  • helping witnesses in court in our Witness Service

  • helping the service to run smoothly in our admin and customer service roles

  • as a trustee
